Are there times when you just look into the distance, and wonder what the future will hold for you?
I have been doing that quite often, as I wonder what the Lord's will for my life is. As I talk to friends at church and friends out of town, a lot of them have asked prayer for guidance in their lives. How wonderful to know that others, too, want to know what Christ wants them to do with the life that He has given them. It is so important to not just ask for guidance, but to trust the Lord that He knows best, and that we will show you His will in His time{yes, not in our time, but His. He always knows what is best!}.
Also, we need to be praying for our brother and sister's in Christ who are seeking, and humbly asking the Lord for help.
So, with a humble and trusting heart, I am asking the Lord, "What is your will?" Not my will, my dreams, or hopes, but yours. Only He knows what is best.
May we seek Him will our whole heart, as we earnestly pray.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
