Though it was not much to play it, it was beautiful to look at. Christmas is getting closer and closer...and it is beginning to actually feel like December!!! This reminds me of a lovely woven basket that it sitting near my dresser. Inside this basket, there are presents. The gifts are wrapped up in brown paper and tied with red ribbons, or white sheer tulle. Every time I come into my bedroom, a wave of delight comes over me. Wrapped presents make me happy enough, but knowing that I made these gifts with my own hands makes me even happier. Gifts are lovely to give, but to actually make a gift that it personalized for someone is even better. Back then, everyone made Christmas gifts homemade. There were not usually any stores nearby, and if there were, things were very expensive, so everyone made things to give to friends and family.
How special to know that the person who gave you the gift took the time to make something for you!
Will you join me as we make this Christmas a simple, crafty Christmas?
